Nestled not far from the Kimberley coast, the Mitchell Falls can be reached from Kununurra.
There are several ways in which you can reach Mitchell Falls or Mitchell Plateau and enjoy the walks and wildlife in the surrounding area. You can take a scenic flight from either Drysdale station or Kununurra or you can drive along the Gibb River road yourself and stay in the campground or Wilderness Lodge. There is also a scenic flight operator located on the ground should you wish to take to the air!
It is approximately 523kms from Kununurra to the Mitchell Falls Wilderness Lodge and takes roughly 9hrs to drive.
