During Kununurra's short history, the Ord Irrigation scheme has attracted world wide attention bringing a range of celebrities through town. Since the park opened in 1984, celebrities who have visited the East Kimberley have planted a tree, such as John Farnham, HRH Princess Anne and Harry Butler, to name a few. Only a few minutes from the center of Kununurra, there is plenty of wildlife to see and a popular place for a walk.
