Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge is located in the heart of Purnululu National Park and offers access to the famous beehive striped domes of the Bungle Bungle Range, Piccaninny Creek, the natural amphitheatre of Cathedral Gorge and Echidna Chasm.

APT Wilderness Lodges offer a touch of luxury in the heart of the wilderness and eliminate the hassles from your self-drive Kimberley adventure. Choose from standard twin tented cabins or Superior cabins with either a king or twin sized beds. Cabins offer a spacious ensuite, hot shower and flushing toilet. A private front deck, is the perfect place to take in the idyllic bush setting of the Lodge.

Enjoy open-air dining with the freshest of local cuisine prepared by our expert chefs. A three course set menu dinner and full breakfast are included with your stay. Our lodges are licensed and provide a select range of beers and Margaret River wines for purchase.

Our welcoming Lodge hosts are always on hand to help in any way and offer their knowledge of the region.

Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge is located right in the heart of World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park. It offers convenient access to the stunning beehive domes of the Bungle Bungle Range, and the breathtaking beauty of Piccaninny Creek, Cathedral Gorge, Echidna Chasm

and Mini Palms Gorge. The idyllic bush setting gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the National Park.

The private ensuited tented cabins are strategically placed to ensure your privacy, whilst still being located close to the main lodge facilities. Soak up the tranquil atmosphere from your private deck, as you observe the abundance of beautiful birdlife.

Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge features two grades of accommodation, Standard Twin or Superior King or Twin tented cabins.

Dining facilities at the lodge offer you the opportunity to dine under the stars. After dinner, relax with new friends around the campfire as you take in the beautiful bush surrounds.

How To Get There

From the Great Northern Highway, go through a gate, follow the Spring Creek Track,

passing the Ranger Station/Visitors Centre (allow at least 2.5 hours to travel this 53km).At the T Junction, turn right toward the airstrip. Follow the road and continue past the airstrip and Piccaninny Creek turnoff.Travel a further 1.2 km, continue straight ahead, passing the Walardi Public Camp Area turnoff. Keep going past the sign - No through Road - Private Camps.

Take the first driveway on the left at the “APT Wilderness Lodge” sign. Park in the car park.

Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge was awarded the inaugural New Product Development Award by Australias North West Tourism, an affiliate of Tourism Western Australia. It also received a silver medal in both the Ecotourism and Unique Accommodation categories of the Western Australian Tourism Awards.

21 days or more - loss of deposit

20-8 days- loss of 50% of the package price

7 days or less- loss of 100% of the package price

This general information relates to Australian Pacific Touring Pty Ltd herein after referred to as The Company.

Fares Booking Confirmations

Full payment is required at confirmation of booking. All fares quoted are in Australian currency and supersede all prices previously advertised. Twin share prices are per person unless otherwise stated. The Company reserves the right to cancel bookings or to refuse to accommodate any passenger where payment has not been received by The Company within the specified time. Prices include Australian Government Goods and Services Tax.

Important Information Exclusion of Liability

1. The Company accepts no liability for any loss of enjoyment experienced by passengers due to circumstances beyond its control. The Company further accepts no liability for any loss beyond its reasonable control and provides no warranties in addition to those set out under the Trade Practices Act 1974 and nothing herein restricts any passenger from exercising their rights and remedies pursuant to law.

2. No passenger will be permitted to enter or remain at camp while their mental or physical condition is in the opinion of any representative of The Company such as to render them incapable of caring for themselves or whereby they become objectionable to other guests or they become a hazard to themselves or other guests. The Company will not be responsible for expenses resulting in such persons being precluded from completing their stay.

3. Camps are open between April/May and October. We reserve the right to amend opening and closing dates at any time. Any additional expense incurred by the passenger is not The Companys responsibility.

Amendment Fees

A charge of $70 PP will apply to any addition or modification requested after the original booking has been confirmed.
